A Science Experiment

Grandpa did a science experiment with us. First we put colured water on a large plate. Then we put a tea light candle in the middle of the plate. We lit it & placed a glass jar over it. Once the candle burned all the oxygen from inside the jar the water rose up higher. Here are some pictures.
